Is writing love poems outdated?
Love poems, like love letters, seem to be a thing of the past. But why is this so? Are we just to lazy to write something by hand, because we are used to type something into our computers, mobile phones and other gadgets? Or is it just lack of time that results from our busy lives? Can we still be creative when it comes to writing poems about love?
Every girl dreams about getting a handwritten love letter, especially if it encloses a love poem. We just love reading about how great we are and how silky our hair is and that the colour of our lips is that of rose petals… The interesting thing is, that we still like reading those well-known phrases that some think are kitschy and overused. I am of the opinion that there can still be creativity in love poems if people would just spend a little time on re-writing old ones.
